Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 31, 2026  ยท  TabTimer Pro

Overview

TabTimer Pro ("TabTimer", "we", "our") is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge that schedules websites to open automatically. This policy explains what data we handle, how we handle it, and your rights.

The short version: we collect nothing, and all your data stays on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

TabTimer does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:

Local Data Storage

All schedule data you create in TabTimer (URLs, times, repeat settings, etc.) is stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in chrome.storage / browser.storage API. This data never leaves your browser.

If you use the optional Google Drive backup feature (Chrome only), your schedule data is saved to your own Google Drive account. TabTimer accesses only the files it creates โ€” it does not read any other Drive content.

๐Ÿ”‘ Google API โ€” Limited Use Disclosure

Google API Services โ€” Limited Use Policy

TabTimer Pro's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

Third-Party Services

TabTimer does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or data-broker services. The extension makes no external network requests except for the optional Google Drive backup feature described above.

Children's Privacy

TabTimer is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the updated policy at this URL. Continued use of TabTimer after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
